    About this opportunity:Would you like to join a small team of volunteers and gain experience in a cafe? Are you a non-judgemental person who would like to help provide food to the community of Buckhaven?

    Buckhaven Baptist Church is looking for volunteers to support the running of their Cosy Cafe and food distribution service. Cosy Cafe is in its seventh year and is a place for the community to come together which offers cereal, filled rolls, hot food and sweet treats for free from 10am - 1pm every Wednesday. The food distribution service runs 12 - 2pm on a Wednesday, where bags of food are given out to the community for a small charge of £1.

    Volunteers can get involved with preparing food, serving customers, distributing food bags, and other tasks around the cafe. If you would like to get involved and make a difference, get in touch now.

    Training provided:There will be an induction for volunteers where volunteer policies will be shown. Training and support will always be made available to any interested volunteers.

    Yes - They pay public transport rates and reimburse volunteers every week.

    Experience required:Ideally, volunteers will have some catering experience with Food Hygiene, but this is not essential as training will be provided.
